Try Octoinkjet since you live in UK.I live in Sweden and buy from Octoinkjet and I must admit that I am very happy with the result.Cant notice any difference from OEM ink.Very fair prices as well.

After reading about Qimage I am considering buying it.I have Corel Paint Shop Pro X3 Ultimate which I like very much.In addition I bought ACD Pro 3 which is outstanding for slideshows on the screen and on TV but rather poor when it comes to printing. To my taste.Imust admit that my computer...
Use the German durchstichmethod instead and seal the old topholes with silicon-or combined silicon-stoppers.I flushed my old cartridges by drilling a top hole extra ,quickly flushed them ,let them dry and then sealed with silicon and refilled using the German method.Works perfectly. In the past...
You need not plug the hole. The German refill method is superior to any other method and so simple.I first saw it demonstrated in Druckerchannel.de and since then I have used it.Total satisfaction.
Some time ago I started using my Canon 4200 after having kept it stored for 3 years approximately-unopened.My 560 had been ruined by lightening during a thunderstorm.I set it up.opened the cartridges and began printing. No problems at all and very nice prints both text and photos. My refillink is...
Dye based ink can to my experience be filled in a pigment based cartridge.I always do it for my black textprint cartridges in order to avoid future clogging. It is of course not archival but I dont need that for my use.
Cant understand why you call storing printheads a problem.Of course you must clean them thoroughly first. With my printheads I used isopropanol and after wards destilled water.Put them in a flat bowl with two millimeters of the the fluid to just cover the bottom part of the printhead.Change the...
Clean the printhead very carefully-using isopropanol or windex(ammoniac?) and finish with destilled water.Should be enough according to my experiences.

Octoinkjet.co.uk. would be a good choice.I used to buy from MIS USA but the costs were too high-Swedish VAT,shipping etc.Otherwise their ink was very good and so was their service. To my mind Octoinkjet is as good a choice in all respects and at considerably lower prices.
Sorry I put my message into the wrong place.Do you really mean that my unpacked Canon 4200 would be a better printer than my old one?To me the entry into digital "enlarging" was a great step and so easy compared to the analog system.Could I expect even better results with an Epson printer of...
After having read all the favorable reports on Hobbycolors ink I decided to test.I print with a Canon Pixma 4000 and I know that the ink I bought is meant for the new Pixmas 4200 and upward -I have a 4200 not yet unpacked.Good service and a low price. But:All the photos I tried to print were...
Since I dont live in USA I dont quite understand what a Waterpik is.Perhaps you could explain what it is so that I could find something similar in Sweden where I live?Thank you in advance!

Why not use the German method?Since I started using it refilling is much simpler and cleaner. The only problem could be to find the little channel between the sponge and the inkresorvoir-at the very bottom. If you fail the first time, just try till you succeed! The needle should be long enough...
Why not buy British made Jettec?I even buy it from England although I live in Sweden. No problem at all as regards colour and fade resistance is as good as Canon -made ink.You can mix Canon colour and Jettec to your liking. No clogging problems so far.I use the German Durchstich method
which is...
My answer to question 3 would be:Use the European method!I have tried both methods and I find it much more comfortable to use .You can find good instructions in Druckerchannel,a German forum(Instructions also in English).I use Jettec ink for my Canon and like it.It doesnt clog which my MIS-ink...
When trying to align my Canon 560 the left-so to say- black columns are missing together with the figures in front of the color columns. What is wrong? It seems to print photos well though? Is something wrong with the black cartridge...
Thanks a lot. With great effort I managed to find Tradervar where it seems possible to buy what I want.Refilling has become some strange sort of hobby for me especially with this fantastic Inkjet forum where so many nice people tell us about their experiences.Should also be good for the...
