I would recommend getting two sets of the ProColor cartridges See http://www.alotofthings.com/viartshop/products.php?category_id=240 and a 20 ounce 5 color refill kit. See http://www.alotofthings.com/viartshop/product_details.php?category_id=189&item_id=842 . Learn to refill your cartridges...
I don't know what kind of ink Inkgrabber sells, but alotofthings.com has decent prices on Sensient Imaging Technology, Formulabs Division bulk ink. Their ProColor cartridges are also great for refilling and reasonably priced as are their G & G cartridges. They are currently running a 15 % off...
Can anyone out there tell me whether the print head is in the individual cartridges or seperate in the HP L7780 All In One Printer? What are the pros and cons of storing this printer, in Florida, for 6 months each year?
Any other suggestions on an ink jet All In One Unit that will be left in...
How did a discussion on paper get here, gang? This forum is supposed to be for the question - What manufacturer's ink does each reseller sell? But, hey, I learned a lot about paper, so it ain't all bad.
Adobe Photoshop Elements is great! I highly recommend it. I also have Photoshop but have hardly used it after getting into Photo Elements. A photo professional would probably disagree with me, but hey, how many of us are photo professionals? You'll save a few sheckles, too.
binkie
dwolf,
I can probably refill a few sets of cartridges before you can transfer the chips on one set. If you have never refilled a set of cartridge, don't be skidish. It's straight foward and quick - at least after the first couple of attempts. There are a lot of good instructions on the forum...
Mikling,
Great tip about not storing a little bit of ink in a big bottle! When you post your 8 and 16 ounce sizes, you should also post that tip nearby. It's well worth considering. If saving a few bucks may cause problems down the road, I might opt for the slightly more expensive smaller...
Mikling,
A marketing comment about your website- There are many home users that order refill ink in 8 ounce or larger sizes who won't contact you since they are not dealers. I happen to be one of them. You really should consider adding 8 and 16 ounce sizes to you regular, non dealer, price...
Here's one for our list:
alotofthings.com advertises that all their Truecolor Imaging Bulk Inks and Refill Kits contain Sensient Imaging, Formululabs Divisons Inks unless otherwise specifically noted.
Seems to me that it would be valuable to know what manufactrurer's ink a reseller sells. A few list the manufacturer on their site, but most don't.
How about we use this topic to list the manufacturer of a resellers bulk ink and various cartridges offered? It would be helpful to be able to come...
Mikling,
Thanks for the quick answer. It was most helpful!
Just a few more (for now) questions. Please be patient. I guess I'm a slow learner.
(1) Are the screws that you use self taping? I don't see a point on them to begin making the threads.
(2) Is there a particular purpose in not using...
mikling,
Thanks for the great variation on Grandad's flusing method. Sounds like it's worth a try.
Where do I get a bulkhead female luer lock connector with a barb fitting and a syringe to fit? My current refilling syringes are much smaller than your example. Your larger one would work better...
