Too bad they're not available in smaller lots. I'd like to buy just two sets to use in a rotation for my MP530. Perhaps some enterprizing individual will buy the lot and make them available in small lots. Hint! Hint!

Smile,
Glad to hear that someone ordered an RKS chipsetter. Looking forward to your report, so that we can compare it to the Redsetter. It's advertising, very professionally done, makes it look appealing. What was the final cost of the RKS with shipping? Was it more, less, or the same as the...
Smile,
I think you are getting your canon chip resetters confused. The redsetter does not require a dummy cartridge. I believe a chip resetter from China requires a dummy cartridge placed in your printer with a USB cable between the resetter and the printer. That sounds like a bad arrangement...
The RKS Canon chip resetter is available for $59.95 plus $9.95 shipping on EBay at . . .

tgame,
Any chance you could take a photo of the chip resetter you purchased and post it on the forum? Also, any particular reason you purchased a RKS chip setter rather than a Redsetter? Wonder what the diferences are between the two?
Thanks.

RKS also has a Canon chip setter for sale over at Ebay . . .

That gives us two choices-...
There are two positive reports regarding the Redsetter, a Canon Chip Resetter, over at Steve's Printer Forum . . .

That makes me hopeful.

A Canon chip resetter has been available for about a week now. I would be interested in purchasing one if I knew that they actually worked without incident. At times I get careless with my printer, and I know it is only a matter of time until I forget to check a cartridge that is almost empty...
Defcon2k,
I agree that the price for the clips is way too steep. I don't exactly know how the clips work, but it seems to me that there are many inventive people out there who can figure out a way to make home made clips that will perform the same function. Let's hear from you. Hope someone...
Anyone know anything about the RKS InkControl-ReSetter found at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160240400313&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm37%26satitle%3D160240400313%26category0%3D%26fvi%3D1? I wonder how it stacks up...
I just bought the Canon MP530 at NewEgg for $99.00 plus $3.99 postage. Their 310 price is $89. For only $10 more, it pays to get the MP530. It has 5 seperate ink tanks (cyan, red, yellow, and black dye ink plus a larger black pigmented ink for text). It has an auto sheet feeder that works for...
YNM,
Thanks. That answers my questions. Glad to hear it's just not me that is intiminated by the process. I was beginning to get paranoid. Also glad to hear that all worked out well for you. That encouraging to me.
Blessings.

YNM,
Thanks for the instruction link. Step 6 involves the PAPER FEED BUTTON. Is this the FEED SWITCH button on the MP530 or should I use the STOP/RESET button? There is no button labelled RESUME. This sure can appear intiminating if one hasn't been through the process.
Thanks.

I just bought and installed a Canon MP530 printer and plan to refill the cartridges. I'm trying to do a little planning in advance and would like to know if there is any specific instructions for the MP530 as to the exact procedure to override the ink monitiring. Would appreciate any...
I can't tell you weather the MP530 is a step down from your MP750. I know I just ordered one from NewEgg for $99.00 plus $3.95 shipping, a pretty good deal. I read the reviews which were good. It has chipped caetridges as all the Canons do, but that can be worked around without problems if you...
Two days ago I got a message that the Waste Tank was almost full. The printer printed sporatically for a day than quit. I am now getting the following message on the LCD screen - Check Printer, Press Resume Key. When I press the Resume key nothing happens. All printing functions have stopped...
alotofthings.com clearly states, at the top of their bulk ink page . . . "All contain Sensient Imaging Technology, Formulabs Division Inks." You gotta admire a dealer who speaks truth in advertising. What are the other dealers afraid of? They probably don't want us consumers to comparison shop...
I have asked this question before, but have yet to see an answer. How about it gang . . . someone out there must be able to help me out.
Does anyone know who the manufacturer of Hobbicolors ink is? I get the impression that Hobbicolors is just the name of a retail distributor who labels the ink...
