Leo,
Thanks, that's a great suggestion.
I didn't mean to sound like I was beating up on Hobbicolors. Although I haven't used their ink yet, all the reports here on The Forum are positive regarding the ink's quality and the honesty and helpfulness of the distributor. I was just looking to...
I would think that the seller on EBay came up with the Hobbicolors name, not the manufacturer. Therefore, if anyone else was selling the same ink, it wouldn't have the Hobbicolors name.
Many of the comments I have read about Hobbicolors ink is that it is noticeably more vibrant. It would seem...
I have three questions regarding Hobbicolors ink:
(1) How is it, with all the inquiring minds out there in Nifty-Stuff Ink Forum Land, that no one can figure out the origin of the Hobbicolors ink?
(2) Whoever the manufacturer is, you would think that someone else would also be selling the...
Panos,
I wish you the best of luck with your RedSetter, but I think you may be making a mistake ordering from Sudhaus rather than from Michele (assuming that you live in the US). I say this for the following reasons:
(1) You state that Sudhaus designed the RedSetter. How do you know this? I...
Here is a page from the BlueSetter instruction sheet that I received when I returned my malfunctioning RedSetter to Michele http://www.inkjetreset.com/and received the BlueSetter as a warranty replacement. It shows the battery type and replacement procedure.

I bought an RKS Redsetter from Michele (see Michele's postings on this forum) about a month and a half ago and had some problems after a few resets. Either the battery went dead or the circuit board burnt out. I don't have the correct meters to make this determination. The important thing is...
On my MP530 when I put in a new OEM cartridge or a reset cartridge the ink level display returns to normal for that cartridge. Your iP4500 should be the same.

Why the question mark after "or re-seal the hole"? Are you unsure about that statement. Now, you really have me confused. Of course, that's normally not hard to do.
Also, how much intensive testing has been done with this "American" method? I gather it has been tried on only a relatively small...
I dropped an email off to Michele (The US distributor for RKS RedSetter) regarding my above stated problem and got the following quick reply (See below). I can't say enough about the great service. Also, my postage expense to return to unit is minimal as Michelle is a US vendor. It's comforting...
I purchased a RedSetter a little over a month ago and had no trouble for about 7 resets. Then it started taking repeated efforts to properly reset a cartridge. The cartridge light would blink but not stay on. After repeated attempts a cartridge would finally light up. Now, however, I can't get...
Trigger,
Thanks for a thorough explanation of your method of flushing a cartridge. Simple and less hazardous to the sponge than most other methods. Sounds like a winner!
