Hello Peter,
I asked because the service manual does not provide specific information on how to transport the printer, I was already aware of the instructions at page 62.
That paragraph from my point of view is quite useless.
Thank you anyway.
Hi guys,
I must make a travel by train long 6-7 hours and I must change 3 trains.
I can't do efforts (btw I broke my leg 3 months ago) so the only way is to insert the printer MG5250 inside a luggage with the wheels.
Unfortunately the only way is like showed in the picture below.
Could I...
I do not understand. I must tilt at 45 with sponge up?? Maybe you wanted to say down?
How much they should weight fully filled?
EDIT:
I had to shake down with force the cartridge at 45 degrees (BTW the same position that the cartridge has when is on the redsetter). I saw that some droplets...
Hi guys,
I tried to refill with the topfill method my first 2 cartridges.
The situation is the following (check the pictures).
It seems that the sponge do not want ink anymore. It's passed a bit of time but the colored part of the sponge is still more or less the same.
Should I remove...
The PGI-521 cartridges are ready to be refilled.
I have just a concern about the weight of the PGI-520, which is his weight when it's empty and dried with ghwellsjr procedure?
Let me know ASAP. Thanks! :)
I tried initially putting the cartridge under the falling jet of water with no good results.
Then I used a syringe of 10ml without the needle and I found it good with the little cartridges while with the big cartridge pig-520 something didn't work as expected.
The result is here below.
I dunno why but the sponge of the big cartridge do not want to became white/grey.
After more than 45 minutes the cartridge sometime continues to put out black water.
WTF is this? :(
For the small cartridges I lost less than 10 minutes.
I bought them empty so I do not know how touched them. :/
Anyway, nobody answer to my question, can I use the air compressor instead to blow?
Thank you! :)
Can I use the air compressor instead to blow? I bought the cartridges online and I do not want to lean my mouth directly on them and unfortunately I do not have straws.
Hi guys,
I have a doubt, after the flushing of the cartridges with hot water and the last wash with distilled water before use the pharmacist solution I must dry the sponge? I read various topics but this point is still obscured. :/
Thank you
Hello,
I'm sorry but my english sometimes it's a little bit limited.
I try to summarize hoping to clarify your doubts.
1. I bought 1 kit of cartridges PGI-520 CLI-521 and 1 kit of PGI-525 CLI-526
2. I tried to remove a chip from one cartridge and the picture at the first post was the result...
This is the blue tack that I bought.
I made also a test with the multimeter and it was good, the multimeter was not in grade to determine the resistance, this means that is quite high (high resistance means safe to use).
I'll post other pictures (also how it looks when attached) when the...
Good news.
The blue tack it's arrived, what to say, at first impression it looks very suitable for our purpose.
I tried to attach just one chip to a cartridge to try it and I found it good.
Now I have to wait for the empty cartridges that are on the road and then I'll start to attach the...
Just saw. What to say, it's difficult to believe that a little piece of double-sided tape performs well also because the surfaces are not flat but maybe is just an idea.
Peter you could upload it on a file hosting so everybody can see the pdf.
