The one with ink seems good value, and the video says you do not have to remove anything as there is no longer a magnetic lid sensor, it just says to use one of the plastic bits in the lid sensor opening.

Have done this with a couple of Epson PX800FW, then ran purge sheets until the output was blank sheets, then refilled the cartridges with ink. Ran the purge sheets again and they remained blank until a head clean was run.
Sorry to hear that jtoolman, the other guy got a communication error then did it as per the list I sent him and you and he said it worked fine.

If anyone wants a resetter for the 700 - 800 series (PX TX Artisan) let me know and I will send it to you direct rather than post it here and annoy Epson into asking for it to be removed etc.
If the paper is UV Resistant, then I would change the ink, though you could try your paper on a friend's printer, preferably one using genuine inks first

Couple of things.
Leave the printer on - on standby as they use ink when switched on.
If you use third party inks, look for ones with the largest capacity as they use ink when you change cartridges.
According to WIC read ink counters, one head clean increased the count by 3.7%
