R2000 ink levels greyed out

Still using OEM carts since they are super cheap---I went in a trip and took the printer (didn't get to use it) and just got it up and running. Everything is working great except when I look at my ink monitor it's all greyed out. It says my Cyan is low but I can't tell how low. I'd rather not replace unless I need to.

Any clue what I need to do to fix?

To add, it's a wireless issue as when I plug it directly into the computer it's fine.

Canon, Brother, HP, Ricoh etc.
Perhaps you need to reinstall the drivers or something, or it's windows user rights permission problems?
