The first thing to do is print the G6020’s built-in
Nozzle Check rather than another solid-color test page. Please post a photo of that pattern. It will show whether the cyan nozzles are actually missing and rule out a software or test-file problem.
Since you have already performed several cleanings and deep cleanings, stop repeating them. Canon’s procedure for the G6020 is:
- Run ordinary Cleaning no more than twice.
- Run one Deep Cleaning.
- If that fails, turn the printer off with its Power button, leave it plugged in for at least 24 hours, and run one more Deep Cleaning.
- If the cyan pattern is still defective, perform one Ink Flush.
On the printer, Ink Flush is under
Setup → Maintenance → Ink Flush. Check all four tanks first. Canon warns that every tank must be above the single-dot minimum level because an Ink Flush uses a large amount of ink. It also sends considerable ink into the maintenance cartridge.
Print another nozzle check immediately afterward. If the cyan pattern remains essentially unchanged, do not continue flushing. The next Canon-prescribed step is to check and reseat the print heads using
Setup → Maintenance → Start replacement. Follow the printer’s instructions carefully, including closing the ink valve before removing the heads, firmly pressing the locking cover and both joint buttons, and reopening the ink valve afterward. Do not rinse, soak, wipe, or touch the nozzle surface.
If an Ink Flush and correct head reseating make little or no difference, the likely causes are a defective color printhead or a restriction in the cyan ink-delivery path. The G6020 has separate black and color print heads, so replacing the color head may solve it without replacing the entire printer.
