What do the numbers below (sometimes above) nozzle check on my Epson 1430 mean?

Mine are:

AO25G2 QP100A73

After a trip to my tech guy for a cleaning, the nozzle check was darker, and the number now is:

AO051C QP100A73

I did a pretty thorough search here, got four pages of hits but I couldn't quite find what they meant. Note - sometimes it's a number 0 and sometimes upper case O.

Thank you,
Paul

Maybe adding a photo will make the issue clearer. Note the difference in the numbering. I'd like to know what the numbers mean... do the different numbers indicate a darker scan? I had sent my 1430 to my tech guy. He told me he made a darker scan. My earlier scan is rather weak, I admit, and I prefer a little more darkness, but I feel his darker scan may be a little too dark. Interesting however, the images (a seascape) of the two are not very different. As for scanning the Northlight test its light end is a bit dark.

My inkset is the one Paul Roark created. The pattern in the left hand is blue, and the other five are various dilutions of Carbon ink.

Please let me know if I can make this clearer!

Thanks!

Check your serial number. (don't post it) Do you notice anything similar?

What version driver/firmware are you using? Have you updates either that might coincide?

Is there more text printed with the nozzle check? If so then post as well.

I see there is/was an aftermarket utility - Printer Jockey - that does nozzle checks for some Epsons.

What do you use to do your nozzle checks? Epson's own utility?

What Operating System do you use?

Thanks, stratman. First, I'm impressed you can pull out a post of mine from Jan 2017!

By the way, what time zone are you in... I'm in the Mountain Zone, Billings to be exact.

I don't know why the AO alphanumeric changes. Actually I have that question myself. I'm afraid I'm in water too deep for me and can't answer most of your questions. I did find my serial number, on back of the 1430 case - but I don't find anything similar. I don't know my version driver or firmware.

As for text to accompany the nozzle check, would my initial post work? I see the AO is equally dark in both samples even though the nozzle checks are noticeably different. The nozzle check is produced by Epson's own utility in both instances, and my OS is Windows 10.

It's early here and as soon as I can I'll try and reach my tech guy for some of these questions.

Sorry I can't give you more information!

Paul

Anyone have an Enigma Machine or a supercomputer laying around to crack the code? o_O

Thanks for the answers. You may not be closer to an answer but your not further away. ;)

Ohio here. Not been to Billings, or Montana, but other states around you. Amazing country out West!

Ohio.. aha. I do believe that's Eastern Time Zone, so we're two hours apart.
