QY6-0067 printhead for mx850?

Can I use qy6-0067 printhead for my canon mx850. Some say that this printhead is same as qy6-0075 and and can be replaced but some say mx850 model printers work only with qy6-0075. I am confused any opinions?

The parts catalog for the MX850 lists the QY6-0075 as the print head for this printer. The older QY6-0067 can be replaced by QY6-0075, but sadly I cannot tell if it also works the other way around.

Has anybody tried replacing the QY6-0075 with QY6_0067?

In theory if the QY6-0075 replaced the older model QY6-0067, then there should be no practical reason why it won’t work, the only reason to replace the QY6-0067 with the newer model was probably because of a design fault... :hu

The thing I don't understand is this printheads are very expensive with respect to other models. For example
qy6-0082: 30-35$
qy6-0059:20-25$
qy6-0072:20-25 $ (nearly same)
qy6-0082:15-40$

Qy6-0075:85-135$:(
0y6-0067:75-125$

When you look at them, at first galance they are the the same items with same materials and components only difference is their forms and ink cartridge array. what's the reason of last two printheads are so overpriced? Somebody explain please:he

A quick check on a couple of the inexpensive print heads you listed show these are either marked as "refurbished" or claimed to be new and out of China. These are most likely refurbished as well and in counterfeit packaging. There appears to be a high failure rate with these Chinese sourced print heads.

Canon manufactures a print head model for 5 years after the release of the printer model, generally speaking, and then that's it. The inexpensive print heads I looked at were for printers well past the 5 years mark.

Both qy6-0067 and 0075 are out of production and not available anymore.
If you ever find one of these, unopened and with original canon hologram sticker, for less than 150€, let me know.

I haven't tried a 0067 on a newer printer, only a 0075 in my older ip4500 and mp810.
So the newer 0075 is "downward compatible" to work in older printers.
But this doesn't mean newer printers would accept a 0067... I guess the older printhead is not "upward compatible" to work with newer printers, which are specified for 0075.
Theoretical questions...you won't get one or the other..

Because there are many sellers on ebay and amazon sells "NEW", "BRAND NEW", "ORİGİNAL", "GENİUNE" printheads. And I can't see any hologram on these printheads. Are these refubrished printheds even tey are "NEW", "BRAND NEW", "ORİGİNAL", "GENİUNE" printheads then?
