i do have MG series printer but not in that specific area.... using MG8170.... and when you said "Physical location on the globe is not an issue."...IMHO you should put others model which is 125/126(Latin), 325/326(Japan), 425/426(Middle east), 725/726(Asia pacific) and 825/826(china)... :-D

this cartridge only has a little window at the bottom of the reservoir. you can see the ink with help of bright light...IMO, german method can be use.. but dont know what happen when we deactivated the ink level monitoring. by the way i'm using MG8170, good printer but right now, the ink...

i got the new printer with the new generation of ink cartridges from canon... the model is MG8170... All of the cart is black but at the bottom, got a little semi-transparent... I think it can be refill by german method and need very bright light to illuminate the cart... later i will show the...
