How do you keep a used HP photo ink cartridge working? Or how long can you let them set before the nozzles clog? I only plan to print a few photos then may not print for months. Will it still work if I take it out of the printer and sit it on the shelf? Need some advice. Thanks..

Did you have a LexMark printer installed previously? I had a same or similar problem that is caused by a LexMark software conflict when using Windows XP. There was a fix I had to do before the system would recognize a new HP printer. Made the fix and it worked perfect..
