Whew! Finally got the alarm "Ink Tank Nearly Full" alarm after many years. Disassembled the printer (actually not too hard). Found the purge unit submerged in black paste and wiped most of it off. Only about 1/2 the "diapers" absorbed anything! Removed the old diapers, cleaned the base...

Does your printer have seperate waste pads for Black Ink and Color Ink in the parking position? You might have a purge system problem.

Can your printer print other files (images, word processing files, web pages, etc.) successfully? Do other PDF files openned in Adobe Reader print successfully, or is it just one file that is problematic? If so, more than likely, you are experiencing a software issue rather than a printer...
