German Durchstich refill method for Canon carts with pictures

Pushing the needle through the first time is the biggest drawback to this method. I used to think this method was great until I just ruined 2 new cartridges by the sponge getting squished. I didn't have that problem the first 3 cartridges I did it on in the past. Its really ticked me off...

    A CLI-8 and PGI-5 resetter sold in UK ???

I didn't know that. That is not good. I am currently looking for a new printer, and was very tempted to get the new Kodak 5500 printer due to the low cost ink. But I must have read a ton of reviews, and never have I seen a brand of printer have so many complaints of bugs and printer head...

I ordered the...

Syringes for refilling. What do you use / do?

I could easily be wrong, but when I watched the video for filling the Inktec cartridges, it almost looks like they aren't actually sticking the needle into the sponge, but into the bottom of the cartridge and letting it drain into the sponge. But then again I'm probably wrong...

InkTec refill kits: do Canon "5" inks = Canon "6" inks?

From what I have seen posted in these forums, the Inktec ink is one of the best lightfast inks of the ones tested. http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1003&message=12198835 Each place I have seen selling the Inktec has it labeled the same way. BCI-5,but say its for the BCI-6...
