Anyone exceeding thier printers monthly duty cycle?

Well that could work either way. The duty cycle is the estimated MTBF / months of warranty. So if two printers have 1 year warranties and one has 1000 / month duty cycle and the other has 20 000 / month... well one should be more robust than the other.

Anyone exceeding thier printers monthly duty cycle?

Yeah, my understanding from things I have read is that it is pretty much linear. The monthly thing is basicly the total MTBF divided by the length of the warranty. I can't really find how many prints the inkjets are rated for. HP has numbers but Epson seems harder to find.

Anyone exceeding thier printers monthly duty cycle?

Hi, I am curious if anyone here is exceeding the printers monthly duty cycle. I saw a post by a guy in another forum who was printing tens of thousands of prints a month on a relatively inexpensive inkjet with a CFS. Seems... like a lot. I was wondering what people are doing. Thanks, JM

    What is your print volume?

I would use several printers at the same time, probably as many as 10. The problem is the runs need to be customized and many will be as small as 50, 100, 200. So a printer(offset) is not an option. Also the color coverage is not great. There is no need for full bleeds or anything like...

    What is your print volume?

Cool thanks for the info. I am curious if anyone is doing really high volume. I want to custom print 11x17 covers in pretty high volume. They are not dense like color photos, but I need to do as many 5000 in a month, of about 40 different kinds.

    What is your print volume?

Hi, my name is James, I am new to the forum. I have a general question for people. What is your monthly print volume? Is anyone doing ALOT? I read through a lot of posts and the FAQ but it is hard to judge what the volume of printing by users might be. Thanks, James MacLeod :D
