Can you tell me one thing.. Why does the plain paper setting print with the correct color cast but something like glossy tends to have a slight magenta cast?
Well I don't plan on using the Canon much longer for photo printing I will be getting the Epson to replace it since it has a few features the i960 lacks, besides it would of been impossible to get the inks from Canada and testing it all ready before I started printing.. In my case it's going to...
I picked this ink up to use for testing it's dye based ink, I was going to buy a Epson for a event on Dec 22th but between that and I would need pretty much another set of ink tanks right from the start I put that on hold until after the event..
So My thing here is getting the colors right, I...
Is this paper good? I've heard so much about it about 10 years ago but I still haven't picked any up, but I'm thinking about getting some to use about 2 weeks from now for a Christmas party But I have a question what's the differance between the Ilford Galerie Prestige Smooth Pearl &...
I will bite my tongue... and answer nicely.. the NON OEM cart was pre-filled carts, the ink you see on the far left is a OEM cart with aftermarket ink.
The aftermarket cart in this case was the sophia global had that foamy sponge in the cart where the OEM uses something much harder.
Here are a few I did using a poster program
I was not expecting much from the ink but I was able to get it here next day after ordering when I do run out I will switch to something better
just finished up refilling the tanks, looks like the vacuum pump helped as removing water out of all carts I'd say I had about a tablespoon worth of water I sucked out, the ink I'm using is for a Epson Artisan 730 but since it's dye ink it's the same for both Canon and Epson.
Also it's pretty...
It's because the O-rings are still a tad too large and I could of went one size smaller it does not leak or anything like that when put under a full vacuum but I'm going to have to get the correct size.
Good good link! About the over saturation of the ink pad on the cart, I ended up using my vacuum pump which goes down to 75 microns/10 Pascal a great deal of water came right out and this is after a few days and being in a oven for about an hour or so.
One had so much water that ice started to...
I have a crazy question any need for a syringe for a refill? what happens if you just fill the ink side on a flushed cart?
I do own a vacuum pump but I was just curious, the ink I ordered has a tip that allows you to pour from the bottle.
I was reading this here about sealing the carts...
