after my problems with my i560 i was asked about refilling the ip2000 cartridges (BCI-24) . i realised that these cartridges are not see through like the i560 ones . i didnt find any extra "hole" . i wanted to know if there's any way to fill these cartridges and if so, how.
thanks once more

hi..... a few days has passed and a few prints taken and i havent had any problems . so i guess this can be another option....though i think it's better be the last , if the compressed air and distilled water doesnt work.
i did it!!! i was holding my breath taking a test print but hopefully i got a clean print this time. so now we can add another option when the cleaning, the deep cleaning and the washing doesnt work: soak the nozzles in glass cleaner (just enough to cover the nozzles) and fill the part the cart...

i've tried cleaning cycles in a row (maybe 4-5) and i washed the black nozzle with isoproply alcohol (let it pass...
i finally managed to refill the cartridge without bleeding. (a great success!!). i inserted the cart and did a head cleaning. but no use. i still got the stripes.then i cleaned the head pouring isopropyl alcohol drop by drop on one side holding a tissue on the nozzle till all the ink drained...

the print head is where the ink cartridges sit. if you stand it upright, underneath (the side in contact with the...
thanks a lot for the link.
ok, so what should i do now? i guess i have spoilt the cartridge and should get a new one. should i also clean the head? if so, how?
have i totally ruined my printer :(
hi , reading some of the posts i realized that i know almost nothing about inkjets and their maintanance. my inkjet worked fine till the black ink ran out. i bought a bottle of HP black ink and tried to fill the cartridge myself (question one: is there anything special i should do and where can...
