I've been an active computer user since buying my first Apple IIe over 35 years ago. Best printer I've owned was a reliable HP Deskjet B&W which I used for well over 10 years without any issues. The most disappointing was also HP 3 in 1 - 3200 series that was great when it worked, but sadly very unreliable after the first year or two. Paper feeding was the main issue. Currently, I have a HP Envy - only a year old - in addition to my Canon PIXMA Pro5000, which I need help with.

I'm not a techie, but I do have reasonable problem-solving ability and enjoy repairing and fixing things to extend their use. I'm hoping for help with my Canon....
