Yes you are probably correct, just don't like the incredible waste of throwing something out when a spare part would probably solve the issue. I've bought another Epson.

Dear All, about a year ago i took my WF-5620 apart to thoroughly clean the print head as a number of the black nozzles were blocked, as well as some odd coloured ones. It was a real pain getting it back together again, and the end result was good improvement to the printed page, but not perfect...
