I'm guessing the head just died from natural causes. I didnt do anything to the head like clean it or install it while it was wet. Just simply the printer did not turn on. is ebay the best place to hunt for heads?

Hey Ron350, They turn on fine without the head. Could I have done permanent damage to my printer testing out that bad head? What should I NOT do? Thanks for the quick reply! Looks like I need to hunt down a new head.

This is the one I have. Ive had it for a few years and resetted maybe almost 100+ carts with it. This is the second time changing the battery. I've notice though over the last year maybe, that its become more sensitive in resetting carts. Meaning I had to wiggle the cart more I'm guessing, so...

Just tonight Ive been trying to reset the chips on my cart and the light is no longer flashing. I put in new bats but still nothing. Is it time for a new resetter? Is there a new resetter you guys recomend for the PGI and CLI carts? Thanks a bunch for your help!

Ive been trying to clear this cyan clog, I think its a clog, but after doing some reading - this might be an electrical problem? Is it time to replace the print head? Ive soaked the head a couple days in windex...no improvements on cyan.

New printer? heck no! LOL! I just purged the cart and refilled it....its working like a champ again. I wonder if i over heated the head and the ink cooked? I'm printing another 100 pages as I type and no problems yet...
