Have you tried the color profiles posted by grandad35. I had a similar problem with inkgrabber inks until I started using his profiles. I won't attemp to repeat what has been said in other posts but I would suggest that you peruse the posts and try grandad35's profiles. These profiles are...
Having been an Epson bigot I can speak volums about the plusses and minus of Canon versus Epson. The bottom line for me was costs. I was printing almost every day using OEM cartridges from Epson and it was costing me a fortune. In addition I was waiting upto 20 minutes for a single 13x19"...
I thought it might be a good idea to start a suggestions section. And believe it or not I have a suggestion.
Is it possible to set up a weekly email that goes out to participants who sign up to show the lastest posts from say the previous week. This would help those of us who participate in...
Rob: You mentioned you had a conflict with you CD writing when you installed service pack II. I am having the same problem could you email me the solution you found. I don't want to start a series of posts for this unless you think its OK.
Thanks: Bob
For the most part I have been printing with the Kirkland glossy photo paper, but when I photograph animals I find that you get a much more natural look, to the animals, if you print using the matte finish. It is true that once you put them behind a glossy surface they all look the same anyway...
Grandad: I was wondering, since I am using your profile for my I9900 and Kirkland paper, if you will be updating your profiles or is this a PS only fix?
So often in a forum such as this you get a lot of trivial information. This forum is totally different, even most of the questions are intelligent and well though out. In addition some of the answers are so detailed as to border on ANAL, but that what we need. I can only attribute it to the...
I have used Grandad35 profile for my Canon I9900, inkgrabber inks and Kirkland Costco paper. Before using this profile I fought with the green cast problem with the inkgrabber inks (old formual). I was floored when I used his profile. The greys came out grey. In fact I was so impressed I've...

Well I like everyone else have been fighting the green cast problem with the inkgrabber inks. It's not too bad if you up the blue levels in photoshop but its still not grey. Anything with shadows in it tend to get the green cast. Has anyone solved this problem? I do have a story to tell...
Sorry guys my COSTCO refills were from IMS not MSI now I am afraid to use the ink I refilled. BTW I just bought a i9900 printer on ebay for $308 and will soon start thinking about what to do about inks for it. Any suggestions out there? I'll probably break down and buy the MSI refills and try...
Well I went to COSTCO and bought their IMS refill system. What a mess I made with my first attempt, in fact I drilled the hole in the wrong place and ruined the tank and got ink all over my hands (It really is indelible). Anyway my next try went much better and then subsequent tries got better...
