santer...sorry took so long......its really messin up all over the place now....printer is working though and cd print but other things cant install or uninstall most things, flash wont work unable to download files..... Windows 7 64bit if i right click a folder that is NOT a option listed......??

I downloaded the 64 bit here is what I have found so far, and what I have tried.....I checked all the USB controllers and they are all ok no marks..... I download the driver update from Epson and put it on my desktop...... I then opened in safe mode, and ran the driver program update from...

I dont have another machine.......during my digging some more I did get a mention of a "Plug n Play" problem..but it never came up again, and didnt take me anywhere......?? and i really dont have another device for some reason I feel a usb problem...everthing seems to be going along normal...

Good morning, or at least it will be if I can get this printer running....I have tried all different ways to get the drivers installed but it just wont..I used the install Cd to just do the drivers and Print CD...the Print CD loads up and shows a icon on my desktop, but says printer still says...

it shows in box that driver are being installed........then box says driver install was unsuccessful unable to connect with printer make sure it is plugged in and turned on.... the printer shows up in Printers but has a exclamation mark driver not installed.... I get a USB Printing Support...

when it tells me to hook up the usb cable, I do and then the Epson install menue comes up. I check install drivers and print cd.... it goes to the point where it says make sure usb is connected and machine is on...after a bit it will announce driver install not suscessful ( no reason given)...it...

windows defender would block the download would it not? it seems to download ok just wont install new or any drivers in printer when I go to do it.....

I dont know, how can I check that...I do also have Avira running...........

well I have the Epson 50..and no matter what I use the cd that came with it or downloading from Epson...the problem seems like I cant get the drivers into the printer,, I download them..go to install...message "The printer driver package cannot be installed" I have tried the installation cd...

OK I did order it from Best Buy......question...should I use the install cd that comes with it, or go to the epson site and down load my drivers and utilities ???? Just need to print Photos and Cd's-DVD's...I have various Photo editing programs thanks so much
