I own the Artisan 810 and use the refillable cartridges and ink form precisioncolors and was happy with them. I even bought the chip resetter so I didn't have to keep cleaning the heads and running tests every time I refilled my cartridges but found I still had to do that to get a clean print...
Just bought this one as my older Epson Artisan 810 got the flashing lights ink pads are at the end of their life warning. It's still in the box with receipt as I haven't opened it.
Is this a decent printer? I design all of my labels in Illustrater CS6 as I sell bath and body products candles...
I got the warning that my Epson Artisan 810 ink pads were near end of life then a few minutes later they were at the end of their life with flashing lights.
I'm on a Mac so downloaded the Espon reset utility from the Epson site and downloaded a trial of Parallels and Windows 8.1. Got all of that...
My Epson Artisan 810 just got the flashing ink pads are at the end of their life so I'm still trying to revive it back to life. I refilled mine with Precision Colors http://www.precisioncolors.com/ and got them on Ebay. I have a whole new set I may not be able to use and some left of an older set.
