You have two options both available on eBay.
You can replace just the ink dampers https://ebay.us/2NxNyf
The second option is to replace the entire ink delivery system or just the damper section. US seller https://ebay.us/QbrMW1 Chinese seller https://ebay.us/IUWPgz

To get rid of the ink leak/blobs you need to replace the Pk/MK dampers or the entire damper system. You can find them on ebay.

While you're at it replace the ink damper for the blacks, that seems to be the actual problem for the "ink globs" just replacing the switch valve wont fix the problem. Few months ago I replaced the valve switch on my R3000 and 3800 and the ink continued leaking wasn't until I replaced the ink...
You are correct, the actual problem is not just the ink valve selector it also comes with a bad ink damper. I guess the rubber seal or the one way valve on the ink damper goes bad after a while. Strange that it only affects the PK/MK. A while back I replaced the ink valve selector on my 3800 and...
I just purchased the ink selector valve for my 3800 & R3000 after having the same issue. The easiest/less messy way to approach this is to replace the whole damper unit, but is also more expensive.

As websnail mentioned your best option is to get another set of chips or you will be better off with a new set of cartridges. I own a R3000 myself and I currently have 2 sets of extra cartridges to swap them when needed. Just last night I replaced the yellow cartridge after getting the error of...
Hi all, I like everybody else that owns a R3000 ended up with the same issue this past weekend. I searched on eBay for a replacement ink supply system to no avail. So I decided to find a way to get the printer back to working order. I was able to get the printer back by switching the blacks and...
You probably need to clean your capping station. Here is a video of the Epson pro 3800 cleaning process which is similar to your printer. Credits to jtoolman for creating the video http://youtu.be/iKzxAm9QtWo
Hi Joe, I currently use OCP K3, but I was looking into improving the lack of glossiness of the Magentas. I guess my other option (for now) is to use the Cone magentas and see how it goes since it's too expensive to buy any of the OEM magentas on eBay these days. Thanks everyone for your time...
Thanks for the clarification, Is this is the real Powerchrome ink? According to Inktec USA it is. http://www.inktec-usa.com/large-format-product/bulk-ink/epson-stylus-pro-4000-7600-9600-10600-plotter-1l-magenta.html
Hi Pharmacist, in the post you mentioned that the magenta is the one that causes the muted problem, what about the LM? I ask this because here in the USA I can get the CMYK colors ($45 per liter) but not any of the light colors. I'm currently using OCP and I still have a lot of it, but after...
