I did not realise that OEM 520 cartridge will replace the 526. Do you know if the ink is the same for both types of cartridge. I've been trying to find out how easy/difficult it is to swap over the 526 chip onto a 521 cartridge. Your help and advice on these points would be appreciated.

I've just seen refill ink cartridges being offered for sale with chip extenders. You transfer the chip from CLI -256 to the chip extender once and thereafter you just have to replace the cartridge. Has anyone any experience with the chip extender?
