Best place to buy QY6-0084 print head for Canon Pro 100

There is some truth to what you say, but the designs between HP and Canon are very similar. Both are thermal, both use very similar optical encoding, similar mechanics. I actually marveled at how similar they are when I opened up my first Pro 10. The layout is nearly identical to my Designjets...

Best place to buy QY6-0084 print head for Canon Pro 100

It can happen, take this from a former HP Designjet tech (me), and also from Jose Rodriguez on his youtube channel "jtoolman." Some aftermarket inks are incompatible with OEM inks and can cause gelling. In a Canon printer, this can happen primarily with the yellow. I've seen this with cyan...

Best place to buy QY6-0084 print head for Canon Pro 100

I bought replacement and spare printheads from inkjetprinthead.com in the US. They only sell factory sealed OEM parts. Jim is very reliable and honest, and is usually less expensive than eBay if he can.

Is it dead - Canon Pixma Pro 10-S, 26 flashes, error 6700

From my experience: It stores page count, waste ink usage, and trouble codes, both past and current. I got away with removing the cell overnight, with the power disconnected. The printer thought it was new. I wouldn't recommend this, I might have gotten lucky. Edit: Another thought. There is no...

    DTF Printing L1800 Ink Issue

Epson printhead carriers have check valves that are known to cause leakage like this due to sticking open. It can also be damaged nozzles, requiring a new printhead. I have never worked on Epson printers, just Canon and HP, but maybe this will give you a starting point. Sorry, that's all I have.

    Photo printing colors

That printer uses a matte black ink on plain paper, plus the 3 other colors to render all of colors that it is capable of. When it is set to photo paper, it will not use the black ink at all, only the C, M, and Y to recreate a version of black. This is because the black pigment ink just lays on...

HP DesignJet T610 won't recognize toner. Unable to update firmware. Now won't start properly at all

First, to avoid confusion, the HP Designjet series printers are inkjet printers, so they do not use toner, they use ink cartridges. Toner is a colored wax powder that is used in laser printers. Having that out of the way, there are indeed several points inside your printer that can be easily...

Printer suitable for 1,000 plus greeting cards per week

Hi, Jose, I had this same "slowing down" thing happen with an old small format desktop HP photo printer. In my case, it appeared that the vertical feed motor would overheat under continuous paper feed use, and after about a dozen sheets it would slow to a crawl. Might have something to do with...

Printer suitable for 1,000 plus greeting cards per week

Hey, I use a very similar 300 GSM creased paper by Felix Schoeller Tech Papers, but I went with a Canon color laser printer for greeting cards, and I haven't looked back. I also created my own ICC profile for the paper, the results are quite surprising. The OEM toner is dirt cheap in comparison...
