My Canon pixma ip1500 is doing the same exact thing. I've tried everything including drivers, a new printhead and new Canon ink cartridges to no avail. Any ideas what's going on? Thanks.

I also want to print borderless and standard (plain paper setting) from my Canon ip1500 for the same reasons as morgainebrigid. Using the matte or other settings does not resolve the issue. Does anyone have an answer? Thanks so much.
