You may want to do some prinhead cleaning using some techniques outlined on here. I'd also make sure the contacts are clean between the printhead and carriage. I beleve a pencil eraser will do that for you and make sure the printhead is in good and tight.

Dump the Canon software for printing photos. It is not ICC profile aware and gives you no real control over the colors. Do a search on here for ICC profile setting in Windows and use the windows picture wizard to do printing, for now. If the test prints show all colors printing, I would look at...

I am trying to see if anybody has profiles for an i960 and MIS inks with the Kirkland or Ilford Smooth Gloss. They should be pretty damn close..

I got a stainless steel sheet metal screw and small neoprene washer that I trimmed to fit the diameter of the screw head perfectly. Threaded into the factory fill hole and it has sealed like a champ. I guess I'll just do that to all of them on the next refill - it seems to work really well...

Keep in mind that the new Canon chipped carts can be refilled, you just lose the use of the status monitor. No big loss to me..You can still print.
