Workaround would be to export the document from the iPad/Procreate and print it in another app.

I won't have standard sized prints, but I won't saturate my ink pads either.

Never printed from Procreate, but all apps I've used have a button in their print dialog labeled "Print Settings". That's where all the paper size, quality settings and paper source are chosen. That's the borderless option appears.

EXTREMELY helpful. Thanks a bunch. My suspicions are confirmed. I asked Epson tech support about this and they offered me nothing. No advice, no warnings, no help. I have an excellent matte cutter that will allow me to trim prints, so rather than bork my printer, I'll do that.

Ah ha, I see. I was using the LCD panel on the printer.

Minor correction: the firmware update control is under the "Settings" tab.

I did. After a half dozen emails, including one report from "engineering" in Japan, Epson replaced the printer.

Did you actually attempt a print? I can still choose long sheets and create new ones in Print Settings. It's only when you actually hit "Print" that the problem appears. I also use the rear paper feed exclusively for photo printing.
