Post video with problem here (with captured movement of carriage, and sound too). Don't want to give you false hope, because every flatbed remake of any printer have its own construction and uniq reasons of problems.
If printhead burned after manual cleaning, then you must replace printhead (FA04000), transistors and, highly likely, integrated circuit E09A92GA. In very rare cases some resistors burned too and connectors of FFC are damaged.

If paper ok, then I can suggest that distortion of paper caused by ink, which moisten paper too strong, or paper feed mechanism. Try to print on "draft" quality, to check, if distortion caused by ink.
Check printhead flat cable condition and connectors on main board and printhead. There should be no damage or liquid. If everything ok, then most probably problem with printhead itself.
