Hi pharmacist,
The black point position of your 3880 profile (image 1) is very different from that of a CM 9000 ll profile (image 2). Looks very strange!

Thanks emulator, so the bug in the 1.60 version is real. I will reread the patches using version 1.40 of ArgyllCMS.

Hi pharmacist
Using the Wincolor display of the whole 3880 profile, it is not just the black point shift that may be the problem. If you look at the two axes at each end of the mesh display, the whole mesh centre line appears to be slightly shifted and slanted when compared to other profiles.

Indeed very strange: this weekend I will reread a few profiles with version 1.40 and forward to you including some made with Colormunki. It might be interesting to compare the differences.

Well, the Colormunki is OK, the problem is the version of ArgyllCMS. Just roll back to version 1.40 and it should be solved.

Hi emulator,

I send you a few reread profiles with version 1.40. Could examine these profiles and report back ?

I did receive some feedback from emulator and the results with version 1.40 are now similar to the normal profiles concerning the black point, so the black point measurement deviance with version 1.60 is real. So please roll-back to version 1.40 to solve this problem.

Hi pharmacist,
I have checked all of your 6 ArgyllCMS 1.40 profiles and they all have normal black point positions. They also have structures aligning with the black and white centre axes, (unlike post#25). So I think you can safely blame 1.60!

I had a look at a few of the ColorThink YouTube videos, it would be interesting to have ColoThink, except for the price. This one reviews the type of issues we have been discussing.
