Refilling pg-510/512 for the canon mp270

Hi,

When I should make the whole in the ink cartilage, what tool should I use?

Personally, get a stitching awl (or other sharp tool) make a small hole and enlarge it with a small phillips screw driver. The plastic used in the cartridge is really strong so keep at it.

I use a push pin that I press firmly while twisting to make an initial hole. I then use a screw eye to enlarge the hole. The size of the screw eye will determine the size of the hole.
