One of the best ways of getting around trying to find clear CLI-226 cartridges is just to use OEM CLI-220/ 221 cartridges instead..

Some of the guys are doing in that Way the Hat cause i can't find OEm CLi-220/221 to switch the chip for my models but wish one will be the best choice of the printer ip4850, ip4920 and where to get those OEM 220 cause i can't find in amazon neither ebay.

There are lot of sites on EBay to choose from for 220/221 empty OEM cartridges ..

so if get one of this one i need to switch the chip and get a chipresseter from 226 rigth ? or wish one u think will be the best way anyway wish one of those canon ip4850 or 4920 is better ?

If I had a choice Id pick the iP4500 everytime but I dont, so the iP4920 is the better of the two mentioned..

maybe i just had bad luck with the canon ip4500 and buy they used is a risk cause some printer are really damage cause poor ink they use. i will buy a ip4920 and try to see how it work and how i will refill it.

Guys another Stuff i have 6 bottle of Hobbicolor ink UW8 u think it will be the same for those new cartrige CLi-226 ???

Regarding the Hobbicolors UW8 ink in the newer printers (CLI-221, CLI-226):

The color match won't be as good as it was on your IP4500 without a custom profile but it will still work.

Custom profile ??? how i can do that ? or what u recomend that i can buy in ebay or another place that acept paypal cause i live in dominican republic and really i always love the ink of hobbi was was great and dry fast but if i get something better around same price and won't fu up my printer will be ok any suggest ?
