Am I too late to find a resettable/refillable Canon printer? MFP?

Hi, I've been a member of this site (nifty-stuff.com as was) for a few years and come close to buying a new printer on a couple of occasions - a home multi-function - but convinced myself someone would always find a way to crack the cartridge chips, so no rush. Am I too late?

Questions about importing Italian printer to UK.

Sorry these aren't refilling questions. I haven't ever owned a Canon, but am now looking at one of their MFPs. Annoyingly, though, it doesn't seem to be available from a UK retailer, only two Italian companies and one of them says their version is supplied with an Italian plug. I guess the...

Do the PG540 & CL541 cartridges need to be reset?

I hope this isn't too newbie a request for help. I'd be grateful for any advice. I last looked here into resetting chips on Canon cartridges about 3 years ago, but I guess everything has changed since then. I'm in the market for cheap Canon Pixma MFP, as I primarily need the fax facility, but...

Anyone know anything about a Pixma ip1200 (4 or 5 yrs old, I think)?

Hi, I've just been offered an ip1200 for a few pounds and wondered if it would be advisable to snap it up, purely as an emergency printer? The reviews don't seem too kind and it uses 3 ink colours, not even the usual 4, spread across the two cartridges. The two ink cartridges are PG-40 and...

Is 213 the best price to buy MP990 and 193 for MP980? Any cheaper?

Can anyone suggest how I could reduce the price? I've done a Google.co.uk search and these are the best prices I can find. 200's a bit much. Thanks.

    07/08's Canon MFPs? 2009's? Sept/Nov 2009's? Which can I reset? Help.

Hi, Sorry if everyone always asks this. I'm looking for a Canon MFP where, crucially, the ink cartridges can be reset. I looked in to this in late 2008 and I think it was only the MP610 that the RKS resetter worked with as well as the ip3500 and ip4500. Canon seems to have replaced almost...

Newbie question: which printer?; which resetter?; which ink?; help!

Hi, I'm looking to replace my dinosaur printer (Epson Stylus Color 680/777) with something that costs in the region of 50/$100, give or take. At the moment, I reset the chips on my cartridges using a resetter like this (http://www.cartridgesave.co.uk/jr-inkjet-refill-kits.html?id=du8BuueP) and...
