Hi everyone, hope all is well around here in the US and around the globe.
I have been printing (in the past) with my Pro 100 and Precision Color inks with great results until now.
The ink set I have was bought back in 2015. I never had any reddish or magenta tint issues, but I also haven't...
Hi everyone,
I have been gone for a while but always check in here to keep up on the latest.
Since i lost my little Chihuahua i haven't had the ambition to do much.
I've still got all stuff for printing and shooting pictures to print, but am still a couple years away from retirement. When i do...
Sold a brand new Pro-100 printhead to an ebay buyer.
Says his sealed head he received is not printing black.
2 pics posted here that buyer sent to me.
1 shows his previous head was printing black, while the other pic shows the new head not printing black.
The page count for original head shows...
I have several sets for several printers that are all a month past the "best used by" date.
Have kept all ink in a dry cool closet.
I don't smell any fungal smells, but am wondering if i should continue to use, or dump and replace..........anyone know the answer?
I did send Mike an email, but...
Yes this may be a beat to death topic, but i am unclear on the "setup Cartridge" requirements.
This past August we lost out little girl of 12 1/2 years and while still grieving, i have dedicated the picture printing of her memories to use a new printer i have and will be using OEM ink to obtain...
Please take a look at this nozzle check, although it's obvious what's going on, i am not sure if it is permanent damage or not.
Started going bad last weekend. Did a nozzle check and only one stripe. Took the PM cartridge out and dribbled Windex on the inlet of the PM port...........let sit for...
Somehow i ended up buying another Pro 100 tonight (gotta love Canon rebate sellers) and it came with the carts shown in the pic.
What does it mean?
Europe Only?
Seems odd for these to be in USA circulation with camera deals.
Reading the topic posted this past week in regards to cleaning the yellow carts for the Pro 100 got me thinking again.
Not obsessed with having to use the CLI-42Y, but having a few of these carts now opens up the experimenting mode in my head.
Have just gone thru 2 by cleaning with Windex...
I spent virtually an hour plus searching for this answer, and as usual came away from the search with added knowledge from topics posted.
I did not find an adequate answer to my maintenance program so i hope you all forgive me for posting this especially if it is somewhere in this board.
These...
Having a clogged printhead on my I900D going off and on to be just OK using conventional cleaning methods spurred me into buying another head.
Same goes for an i6600D that i picked up locally for 30 bucks. The 6600 had been used by the seller a few years ago until it ran out of ink, and was then...
hey gang,
first let me say that having been printing off and on for the last 10 years i understand the need for screen calibration and have done so, and i do not get to crazy with "exact match" in my prints other than to be as close as what i call eye appealing.
My old I900D gave me great...
just bought some 8.5x11........200 sheets for just over 13 bucks........

Rather than start a new thread, i am posting here for input from you all. Or those who can make heads or tails of my nozzle check image which is not very good as i only have a scanner for my office that is used for documents.
Anyways, it is from the i900D that i have not been so kind to in it's...

Experimenting with old carts to learn how to flush, i'd like to use the formula here that pharmacist prescribes.
My local pharmacy acted like i was trying to build a bomb...
