This question is just out of curiosity. I was wondering if anyone has used Ultrachrome HD pigments in the dye based 1430 (or similar) printer. I use third party pigment inks in this printer and have never had any problems when used regularly. I use the printer for black and white printing only and use my own RIP so this question is not about attempting to match print results using the Epson driver. I was just wondering if there was a physical/chemical reason the inks might not work well or might cause excessive clogging, or present any other problems when used in this printer. I have noticed that most of the printers that use these inks have a 3.5pl minimum droplet size as opposed to the 1430's 1.5pl. But I have also noticed that at least one Ultrachrome HD printer has a minimum droplet size of 2pl. Thanks in advance for indulging my curiosity.
