I'm so glad I know how to work on my own printers so I don't have to put up with self-righteous and arrogant repair people like the "tech" on that site. These canon inkjet printers aren't hard to figure out how to disassemble and repair. Then, even if you don't know how to repair it, this forum is full of helpful information to help one figure it out.
Now, about that twit's comment about the alcohol based ink (at the site in the link), well I'll be nice and say that moron doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. If canon ink really was alcohol based, do you think we would waste out time printing with it. Alcohol is for consumption, not printing, sheesh.
