So I've been away for some time... being satisfied with my bottles of IS ink and printing lots :D. I need a new bottle of pigment black now. Problem is: the quality ink is either in Germany or the UK. I only need one 100mL bottle of pigment black and most shops are charging 10-15 for postage. I really like Octoinkjet but the postage will make the single bottle rather overpriced. I could order more ink, but I'm afraid it will stay on the shelf too long and will putrefy.

So my question: does anyone know of refill shops in the Netherlands that sell quality ink? Like Image Specialists, OCP. Sure you can buy refill ink and cartridges in Holland, but 90% of all online ink shoppers head to www.123inkt.nl. Their ink is just crap that will clog the printhead. Their black ink isn't even pigmented!

I understand your dilemma but as you say if you use the cheapo ink from 123inkt
you may have to replace your print head sooner rather than later.

Look at the overall total cost of good quality ink against poor ink and or any destruction it
may cause you and choose the more reasonable option, buy cheap pay twice.

I use the dearer KMP 220 ink from Octoinkjet which has never putrefied on me and the exchange rate on Sterling
is murder at the moment but the ink is still the best and much cheaper that OEM ink even with its high P&P..

Looks like I made a mistake! Cheaper postage available on Octoinkjet. 4,50 for airmail to Netherlands, even cheaper than local shops. Mea culpa. So I'm getting the KMP black which appears to be very good.
