Does anybody know the procedure to get the Canon Pro9000 to do the service printout?

I bought this printer secondhand and I would like to keep check on the waste ink absorber level.

I tried some other instructions and got the printer to go into a service mode (I think) but couldn't figure out how to make it do any printouts.

Thanks!

:)

Any ideas? Someone has to have some experience with this printer.

Check out Damn Printer website at http://pixma.ulmb.com/?p=172. Looks like entering Service Mode is the same as for the IP420 and IP520 per the site. From that info, you should be able to find out how to get the information you want.
