csl, that is interesting. I know several people that will (should) be interested. Just from little I gather, I'm not sure "avg" users clean out the refillable carts - least not properly. In past, when I read some instructions w/ the kits, nothing was mentioned about a cleaning process. It didn't make sense that they wouldn't need cleaning before refilling - at least after a couple refills.

You did mean pharmacist's neat solution? Neat, as in "an ingenious idea" vs neat (undiluted)?

That solution might help me unclog an HP. It's either clogged & causes it to throw all sorts of inaccurate errors (sometimes one after another) or it's got electronics problems. I've nothing to lose at this point.

cls, you said you could recommend quality ink refill kits for the Epson (T127) for WF-3540 model. I looked on several sites - not an exhaustive search, but only found one that even carried refill kits for Epson T127 carts. A site mentioned on this forum as a "main supplier," Inksupply.com (MIS). So far, all the feedback on their kit & ink quality (for that brand / cart #) is 2 reviews on their site. Not much to go on. One said it was poor color for photos & "rubbed off."
http://www.inksupply.com/product-details.cfm?pn=REF-T127-4-KIT

Refill instructions sound easy enough (rarely is anything as easy as it sounds) :) http://www.inksupply.com/instructions_epson_t125x.cfm (same instructions for T125, 126, 127)

I need something more than 2 reviews (one rated 1 / 5). I've no doubt a kit like this (says enough for 5 refills) is far cheaper, IN THEORY, than compatible / reman carts.

IF... ink isn't crap;
doesn't "rub off photos";
doesn't clog heads;
chips don't go bad after few refills;
carts don't leak after a few refills, for any # of reasons, etc. If those happen, it's not so cheap any more. I've no idea how reliable they are, in general.

So, if you have better suggestions of suppliers, & general sense of reliability of refill kits for given mfgs, I'd appreciate it & will check them out. I'm really not sure that we do enough printing to invest in a CISS (or have room).

Thanks. Looked at the Ebay link, then looked on Nano Digital's site & at Alibaba's site.
BTW, Octoink (mentioned earlier) is in UK. Inktec doesn't show carts or refill kits for WF 3540.

1) I'm guessing you consider Nano Digital a good quality ink? But there are almost no buyer ratings on Amazon (though lots of ND ink ads -likely meaning low sales on Amazon).
2) why those Lankeda carts? Model LKD-RIC-EPWF630 doesn't list my WF 3540 or any later models. I can't find that LKD-RIC-EPWF630 listed ANYwhere on the web, other than link you gave - http://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...rkforce-630-633-635-840/803763_480389147.html (mine are T127120, to be exact).

Are Lankeda carts, straight from a Chinese dealer the best carts we could find for Epson T127120 refillables (& best customer service if DOA / go bad) ?

It's a bit confusing (at 1st). Seems to be > 1 type ink for SAME printer model / cart #? Not sure.

Ebay ad you linked doesn't give specifics about exact product mfg item #. Doesn't state what type of Epson's trade name ink it replaces. But, another slight discrepancy in Ebay color spec sheet / chart VS. one on ND's site.
Charts look almost identical, except one on Ebay has Smell: Normal odor; Water Fastness: 5 (avg).
English Ebay page: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Refill-Pigm...7444?pt=US_Ink_Cartridges&hash=item2c64714b34

ND's site says Smell: Slight ammonia; Water Fastness: 5 (excellent)

Epson site - WF 3540 specs, calls ink for T126 / 127 carts:
Ink Type: DURABrite Ultra pigment ink (smudge, fade and water resistant)
http://nanodigitalink.com/nanodigitalink.com/products/displayitem.asp?pid=31

Nano Digital site (if I have right ink) says it's for "ultra color". May be the same as "Durabrite Ultra", BUT...

I know little about brands of refill ink, though I have technical background w/ good bit of chemistry. May post / search here for info on some of "better" pigment based Epson ink brands. Not SUPER expensive ones, but not $20 / 6 x 1 qt bottles, either.

Especially w/ pigment inks, don't want cheap ink clogging print heads.
