ordered a set of ink absorber pads for my MP830. service manual indicates part # "QY5-0153-000", part received is "QY5-0153-020". might be just a revision # at the end

anyone know if this one will fit my MP830? looks like it might be more for MP800R, but might still fit

see pics of kit and page from MP830 parts manual

It may have an extra pad in it and really is for a different printer but will fit yours. I know that Canon has an ink absorber kit for the iP3000 but it can also use the one for the iP4000. I believe this is because the iP3000 takes one less pad than the iP4000.

This is just a guess. Let us know what you find out.

good news, it is the correct part #. the last 3 digits is just a revision #

now i just need some MP830 specific info to disassemble/reassemble directions to replace the waste pads
