MP560 - use ink resetter?

Is it better to use chip resetter with refilled cartridge or just bypass the low ink warning. I've read disabling the ink reader will invalidate warranty (my printer is only a week old), but how true is that? Is this process reversible?

I'm beginning to have buyer's remorse.. I should have bought Epson

When you need Canon's attention, just replace all the refilled carts with new OEM ones. There is no way that Canon will know you have been using the chip resetter or the bypassing method.
