I was in the middle of refilling my ink tanks when my resetter blinked and died. I have had it a year. It was one of those Chinese versions. It appeared molded together, so with nothing to lose i removed the label to find two screws holding it together, the fit was so good I could not see the join. I was happy to see 3 common button cells actually in holderes not soldered. I rushed to the local $2 shop and bought a new set and and after fitting them and screwing down the lid. I was most pleased to find it was just the batteries. It is now back in operation, a bit scratched up but very usable

So if you have an Epson resetter and it fails check if it needs new batteries. They can cost up to $aud25 ea.
