Hi All-
My 4 month old iP4700 has suddenly stopped printing yellow. When last used two days ago the printer produced perfect A4 photo prints but when used this afternoon it did not print yellow. I've tried the software cleaning options and have removed the print head and gently cleaned the nozzles with a moist paper towel followed by some gentle compressed air all without success. The nozzle check print is perfect (shows only solid colours) but the yellow space is blank. I've been using original Canon carts refilled using the German method with Image Specialists ink and have tried a set of new Canon carts but still no yellow. Any help or advice would be more than greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Cheers-Neal

Hi Again-

Below is a scan of the Nozzle Check. Having no yellow is not making me mellow. Thanks again for looking.

i've also experience that my ip4760 did not print yellow
..The only thing i did is I pull out the head then I vacuum the nozzle part of it.
Then i print letters in a whole matte paper a4 size using yellow color and set the print quality into high..
Yellow turns to normal

..hope it can help for you!!!

What do you mean vacuum the yellow nozzle? You attached a high power vacuum cleaner to it?

I tried that method with a bit of neoprene tubing attached to the end of a 20ml syringe but still no yellow. The nozzle seems to be completely blocked. I'd welcome any other suggestions that may help to get this thing fixed. Thanks again.
