I love the idea, but mostly for novelty reasons. I wonder how these actually compare to traditional construction processes. When they calculate "time" and "cost", I wonder if they are factoring in things like equipment setup/teardown, etc.

I'm also wondering what materials they are using in that spray-foam looking house and curious how environmentally sustainable / friendly that stuff is?

The link does state: "It is also more environmentally-friendly than traditional construction, as there is no waste."

Instead of polyurethane insulation, maybe you can get them to spray an eco-friendly vegetable oil version or Icynene.

I missed that part, thanks! I guess there's validity to that. I remember hearing that some HUGE % of local landfills are construction waste.
