epson 2200

I have an Epson 2200 that I would like to put into long term storage. Is there a method to clear out the carts to flush the print head before I unplug it? Would I need to purchase some special cleaning carts or cleaning fluid. Usually I just use Windex. If there's a cheap easy way to clean it...
