The CISS I have tried use a reset button so the cartridges remain insitu, but 6ml resets wastes ink and time and drives the printer towards the waste ink pad error. Mainly use black in the office setting and have to reset this at least once per week. Anyone usuing the brother printers all in...

Refillables or CISS with Hi Capacity Chips

Reluctantly have begun to explore the options for chipped cartridges, after having years of great service from unchipped MP730 and IP3000. Have begun my experimentation with the Epson all in one TX610FW also known as the Worforce 610 in other places. Am trying a Rihac CISS and CISS and...

Looking for an appropriate CISS system for Epson Stylus NX420

I have used rihac.com.au for my canon and epson printers tx610fw, I believe they now have a CISS for NX420- Austalian model. They are a bit more expensive than ebay suppliers, but their products are well tested and they give good support. I realise they are not in Nth America. Not sure if they...

I have a Epson workforce with a rihac CISS. Every few months the black would stop printing and only waiting over night after multiple head cleans did it restart. How to install an external waste ink tank on a Canon MP780 (or MP760)

After having blocked purge units on my CISS IP3000's and MP730's I only use dye inks as the black instead of the pigment and try to flood with windex. This recommendation came via Rihac.

My CIS search has begun. Calling all experienced CIS users!

Hi websnail, Haven't ventured past my now old fashioned non chipped inkjets IP3000 and MP730. Wish someone would come up with a neat trick to sense low ink level in the black ink chamber reservoir, such a pain to have to reprime a CISS.

    Hi! Canon ip4000 not printing...

Has the printer had a lot of use. Could be a blocked purge unit. The tips of the purge tubes feed onto absorption pads on the base of the printer. With a lot of use a thick ink residue can build up and block the tubes.

My CIS search has begun. Calling all experienced CIS users!

Hi Glo, I do see condensation in my tanks from time to time, you must be in the warmer part of Australia with high humidity. I wouldn.t worry about it as it it occurs in the sealed side of the ink tanks and shouldn't change the quality of the ink significantly. The worst situation I get into...

Canon printers and CIS kits - Enough!

My only criticism of the rihac tank is that to reset the airchamber ink level so that you can precisely control the ink pressure is cumbersome as the tanks are not in parallel and thus the tipping technique describe in the last part of http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=2591...
