Thanks for the reply. I've swapped the boards on a few CLI-42 carts before without an issue, but Murphy got me this time!! Thought I could "fool" the printer thinking that all the boards were the same, used a board from a old spare dried out Magenta CLI-42, nope didn't work!!

Joe, There is no way to unclog the printhead? I know PC has the new M and PM inks, I just rec'd a new set of 4oz bottles for all colors. I also got a cleaned set of empty CLI-8 carts to convert over with the circuit board change so I wouldn't mix the old PC M and PM inks with the new formula...

Are you saying that if we use Print Studio Pro in LR and PS that it will detect a refilled cart and not allow you to print from LR or PS?

Getting ready for my first refill attempt on Pixma Pro 100. Noted the yellow issue and have the CLI-8 for the yellow. Are most of you reusing the CLI-42 or transferring the chip to a clean CLI-8 or all the other colors?
