Z-510 Printhead Error: Plz. Help

Respected Members,

I am using Spectrum Z-510 3D Printer in my University. It is giving following error and it causes/solution in troubleshooting manual of Z Corp.We have done all cleaning. It started but only printed 8 or 9 Layers , again stopped .Can you plz. tell me reason and how to rectify it.I will be very grateful to you.

Symptom/Error Code 1003


PRINTHEAD X ERROR

I2C READ FAILED FOR HEAD X

0 = W 1 = Y 2 = M 3 = C





In our Z-510 Machine , it appears like that



Printer Error 1003 (0)

I2C read failed for head 0



and on the Z-Printer Screen , this appears


Printhead 0 error


So Error is in Printhead of White or Clear as 0 = W



Greater Likelihood[/b]


Cause 1 : Print head not seated properly / contacts dirty


Solution :Clean print head contacts and Pogo Pins; Reinsert print heads .



Cause 2 : Bad print head

Solution : Replace print head




Small Likelihood


Cause 1 : Bad carriage cable

Solution: Replace Fast Axis Module



Cause 2: Bad pogo card

Solution : Replace Fast Axis Module
