What size prints are your favorites?

Hi Guys,

I'm slowly building up a supply of photo paper, but the wife always wants something different, so I have to hit the internet OR go to a local business. What are your favorite sizes that you most often print to?

Have you found any places that consistently have "great" prices? I have to admit that I love sales!

Although I have 2 A3+ printers, most of my photo prints are on A4.
I give away the prints, but most people do not want a larger format.

My wife is a cathedral artist and a lot of her pictures goes on A3+, so when I can find a good deal on that, we usually stock up. But the last week or so, she's been wanting the smaller sizes, 5x7. Personally, my favorite is either 8x10 or 8.5x11.

What are your favorite sizes that you most often print to?

Here in the EU we’re spoiled for choice when it comes to paper sizes, we mostly use any of the “A” sizes, and if we cut it in half we still end up with an “A” size.

Buy A3+ paper and a *GOOD* trimmer.

That way you get to purchase one size. More economical and keeps inventory simple. One box per paper grade always 13 x 19.

Print multiple images per sheet. For example 9 images 4 x 6 per A3+ sheet. etc.

Treat yourself to something like Qimaqe or similar that makes it easy to setup multiple image formats and printer settings, and recalls them when needed. Very efficient, saves a lot of time and frustration.

Then print early, print often!
